The Heel Pain app is your simple, effective treatment program for plantar fasciitis, the most common cause of heel pain. Are your first steps getting out of bed painful? Does being on your feet all day make the heel pain worse?

You’ve come to the right place for the best chance of a quick recovery and avoiding costly and unnecessary treatment options.

The Heel Pain app provides a self-managed program that’s effective in treating 95 per cent of sufferers with plantar fasciitis.

Developed by Australian orthopaedic surgeons, the app takes you through a treatment program of stretches, use of the most effective heel cushion for plantar fasciitis and modified activity.

By using the app, you will have a better understanding of the condition and how to manage it, and find the treatment easier to follow, stick to and monitor.

Features and benefits:

• Questionnaire – determine whether your heel pain is likely to be plantar fasciitis
• Award-winning videos – learn about the condition, how to correctly perform your stretching exercises and how the treatment works, as you would hear it from orthopaedic specialists
• Works in conjunction with reasonably-priced ViscoSpot® heel cushions
• Specialist locator – find expert medical help, if required
• Reminders – never forget to do your stretches again
• Trackers – record and monitor your pain and activity levels
• Log and QR code scanner – keep a history of your pain levels, activity, purchases and treatment

What does the research say?

• Results from a randomised controlled clinical trial showed that ViscoSpot® heel cushions used in combination with stretching exercises had a 95% success rate. In the same study, the more expensive custom made orthotics with stretches was only 68% effective whilst stretching alone resulted in 72% of patients reporting improvement in their pain.
